UN CAMBIO MAS

Hey y'all this week was good. We did ALOT. We visited soooooo many people. I don't think I've ever talked to so many people haha. We are working so hard with our investigators, alot of them are all having problems getting permission from their parents to be baptized :( but they are all so great! Hermana Wilson and I are working SO HARD. We have alot of fun. We talk to everyone we meet about NAVIDAD. WE are so pumped for Christmas!! In this time, especially with Light the World, the people are a whole lot more open to talking to us. We've met some SUPER awesome people This week was a very normal mission week haha.
Hard work, lots of prayers, lots of crying. All that fun stuff!
But I really do love being a missionary!!
We have seen so many miracles. Christmas Miracles!!!

I hope you all have a great week!! HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS

NAVIDAD :) y Dog Bites :/

Hola!! I hope y'all are doing well!!
This week was ok! We had a MULTIZONE CONFERENCE in Tacna and it was our Christmas themed one. Yall it was so FUN!! We did these really funny sketches and it was HILARIOUS. Everyone imitated our mission president and there were so many jokes about how hes addicted to coco-cola. (yall he really is. he drinks so many everyday).
It was also super spiritual and got us all pumped for christmas and to work out here. We have some new goals as a mission and they got us all excited to get out there and work!

The rest of the week we worked hard!!
When we were out with a member, a dog came out of no where and bit my foot and then ran away. So that was a fun experience but it was all good.

We have seen so many miracles and the people are being a whole lot more open. We start off every conversation with Christmas. We've gotten some mixed responses but most people have been so open. I love this time of year, especially as a missionary.

Also today we woke up at 4 to go and HIKE as a district and it was so fun!!! We had a blast. Worth getting up at 4 haha.

I love yall so much thank you for your support and love.
Keep doing awesome things.
Have a good week
Until we meet again next p-day

Broken Sinks and Sleep praying :)

Hola mi familia!! How are y'all? ITS DECEMBER YALL. I've been out for 6 months like what is this. 1/3 of my mission over?? No :(

This week was CRAZY but so good.
We got a lot of referrals from the ward and we have found some people that are SO prepared to hear this gospel.

I love being with Hermana Wilson! We have a lot of fun together and we´re working really hard to help these people.

Alright fun stories from the week.
So I was showering right, all normal. When the sink fell off the wall and onto the floor about 2 inches from my feet. It was super scary but you know that's the life here in Peru.
Also last night, since I've been having a little trouble sleeping. I was laying there at 1 in the morning when Hermana Wilson started praying out loud in her sleep. Loud and clear. It was so funny haha. Sleep praying is a thing haha.

I hope you all had a great week!
I am loving it out here in the Lord´s vineyard.
I also loved the Christmas Devtional last night so If you havent seen it, you should.
This time of year is a great time to serve our fellow men and in the process of doing that we´ll be serving our Heavenly Father.

I love you all so much!!
Until we meet again next P-day

BAUTISMO :)

Y'all this week just like every other week as a missionary was an ADVENTURE. We are working real hard in this area to find those that are prepared to recieve this gospel! I have never talked to so many people also im becoming a pro at challenging people for baptism in the street which is a scary thing to do but pretty much every one has said they would think about getting baptized (the people here are so open and humble and I LOVE IT).

Its still super hard but I'm working through it all, Heavenly Father gives us challenges and trials to bring us closer to Him. I testify that this is true. That we have a loving Father in Heaven who is always willing to bless us even if its in ways we don't really expect.

Guys we had the most beautiful baptism this week. The mom of Stefania is a less active member and I think it really helped her to see her daughter making these changes in her life and it was just the sweetest baptismal service. I loved the opportunity I had to be there <3 The Spirit was really really strong.
This gospel changes lives and brings REAL long lasting HAPPINESS to the lives of the people who live the principles of this gospel.

I love being a representative of our Savior Jesus Christ and everyday I grow closer and closer to Him. I wouldn't be able to do anything without Him by my side.

Y'all I love y'all
I know sometimes this life is HARD, BUT KEEP GOING Keep praying and keep working hard :)
God loves yall
Have a good week
Until we meet again next P-day

WENT BACK TO TACNA

GUYS.
I went back to Tacna to do Divisions with our Hermana Leaders on Friday  and guys I GOT TO SEE MY INVESTIGATOR PAMELA!! She got baptized yesterday <3 and she was so happy and excited to be getting baptized! I didn't get to go to her baptism but I loved getting to see her.

I love getting to be a person that helps people make changes in their lives. I've seen this gospel change so many lives here. Its truly amazing. <3

This week me and Hermana Wilson have been living it up here in San Francisco in Moquegua. We go running in the mornings and walk up steep hills and all the stairs they have here.
There are lots of people here who are prepared for the gospel its amazing!! We're gonna have a baptism this week and that should be fun! Her name is Stefania and she has a CRAZY strong testimony and I´m so glad I got to be here and meet her.

Guys the Lord loves us. Even though we have lots of trials we can still find the blessings from our Heavenly Father. He will always show us His love. He will send us help when we need it.

Thank yall for your Love, Support and Prayers :)
I love yall lots
Until we meet again next P-day

BIRTHDAY IN A BUS

Hey yall :)
Thanks to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday :) yall are the best.
This week was CRAZY. So I was in my area with Hermana Cruz for about 4 days. And we had some other rather interesting experiences. So I had some trouble with my anxiety and I had to be emergency transferred (again) to the mission home. So I stayed in the mission home for about a day to settle down. I spent sometime with President and Hermana Johnson which helped me calm down. I love those guys :_)
They then put me in the trio again with Hermana Poulson and Hermana Wood which was SO HELPFUL. We had blast being together again and speaking horribly grammatically incorrect English haha. They definitely have become some of my best friends.
And yesterday at night they took me to the house of a member who is from Utah to have a small celebration for my birthday. I got to eat chocolate pie :)

This morning I then traveled to the beautiful, hilly and sunny. MOQUEGUA. I am now with Hermana Wilson from Texas. I'm about 4 hours from Arequipa. So that was a fun bus ride for my birthday.

Yall. The Lord loves us. Sometimes we don't why things happen but we always have a loving Heavenly Fathre and a Savior who suffered for us.
I love you all
Until we meet again next P-day

God Protects His Missionaries

Hola Mi familia y Amigos,

It's taken me a long time to figure out what to say to y'all this week. This week was the scariest hardest week of my life.
I had an emergency transfer to Arequipa this past week.
I had an experience that I think changed my whole life.
I just want y'all to know that I am SAFE. I have really great leaders here in the mission that helped me alot.
We were robbed in the street and it was a very traumatic experience for me.
But like I said I have awesome leaders. So the Zone Leaders came and they read Doctrine and Covenants 122 with us. It was really powerful.
It says
´´ If thou art called to pass through tribulation; if thou art in perils among false brethren; if thou art in perils among robbers; if thou art in perils by land or by sea.
...know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.´´

Yes this experience was hard but sometimes we just gotta go through it.

So after this experience, I was immediately transferred to Arequipa (I flew in a plane which was a really interesting mid-mission experience)
I was then put in a trio with 2 hermana leaders from Utah and that was so fun! They really helped me to try and get over the thoughts and feelings.
I never thought that something like this would happen on my mission.
This week was cambios so I now have a new companion. Shes also from Argentina. Her name is Hermana Cruz and shes way cool.

I have a strong testimony, That our Heavenly Father loves us. And sometimes we might not always understand what happens to us. But I know that I was protected and that EVERYTHING happens for a reason.

My Dad just sent me this quote and its so true.
´´We cannot control all that happens to us, but we have absolute control over how we respond to the changes.  —W. Christopher Waddell´´

It´s gonna be hard. But I know that God has a plan and all things will work out for our good.

I love yall so much.
Thank you for your prayers and your love
Until we meet again next p-day
